Lazy Adventurer

Welcome to the rabbit-hole, but chase the rabbit at your own risk.

This will be a motley assortment of anything that doesn't fit in my head anymore. Enjoy or don't. At this point I don't care.

I once was a veracious reader but due to smartphones,Reddit, and gradually diminishing free time I haven't read much in the last couple of years. My last actual book was  A Feast For Crows, book four from our friend R.R. Martin.

I attribute my laziness in reading to laziness. Anyone can make time to read. Not reading has consequences too. To voluntarily sequester yourself away from that world leaves you dull-witted and rather one dimensional. When I discovered audible, some of that world returned to me.

To say that I enjoy audible, and its many audio books, would be an understatement. Due to my hour-long commute each way, each day, I have come to rely on audible to support me through doldrums of the freeway. It has reignited my passion for books.

Now, don't get me wrong. I do not claim the same level of intellectual stimulation from audible as I do reading physical books. Listening to books is not the same as reading them. However, bad pizza will always be better than no pizza? You feel me?

I just wanted to share the many amazing audible books that I have listened to in the last year or so. I recommend some more than others but I couldn't classify a single of them as a waste of time. Enjoy, or don't. You've been warned.
